Splunk to Success Program

You have officially made it to the Splunk to Success Program! This journey is not for the weak, but that is why you are here.

You are here because you want to make some big changes in your life. You want to stop working long hours, spend more time with your family, and have time to pursue your dreams and passions.

We are here to push you to be better. Everything we do in this program is to assure that you will succeed. The journey won't be easy. There will be a lot of ups and downs. It will be rough but you will not be alone. There will be laughs to share, sleepless nights, tears to shed, but in the end we will celebrate your victory together.

What to Expect

Learn Code

Do you see that black screen of code in a hacker's computer in movies that look so cool? It's not all that complicated. It's actually really simple. We'll teach you to use code in no time. Be prepared to feel like the smartest person in the room once you start coding!

Weekly Live Lectures

Do you think 3-hour classes are long? Trust me when I say, you'll be thanking the heavens if class ends in just 3 hours. Our weekly live lectures are no joke. I suggest you start hoarding coffee granules to keep you up at night and look for different back stretches to ease your back pain to survive.

Practice Sessions

You will have a love and hate relationship with our practice sessions. This class will rely mostly on you. Our instructors will be ready to grill you with oral and practical questions based on the week's lecture. No one can save you but yourself. Being unprepared for class will be a nightmare!

Group Projects

This is where the fun happens! Our group projects will have you working with your classmates and you'll be replicating on-the-job work orders. It will be like you're in an actual IT environment.

Exams

Our exams will be mock interviews that will assess your job-readiness. We take this very seriously so reviewing all your lessons and practicing your skills is key!

Build a Community

The best thing about our program is that you will be sharing this experience with others. The people you will meet here will be part of your life forever. You will have a community that will understand your struggles and will support and guide you throughout your journey.

“Aim for the sky, but move slowly, enjoying every step along the way. It is all those little steps that make the journey complete.”

Tips for Success!

Don't Be Late!

We do not start the class when everyone is not yet present. When you are late, we will delay the class until you arrive. Your classmates will be waiting for you so be responsible enough to be in class on time! Trust me, you don't want to be that person that everyone waits for.

Study Study Study

We will know when you're not studying and practicing. There is no mercy for students who do not study so beware. That is the worst thing you could possibly do in this program. We take this very seriously and you should too. The only way to succeed is consistent practicing and studying.

Do your Homework!

Do yourself a favor and make sure you submit your homework on time! Late submissions will not be corrected. Homework will be a huge help for you to effectively review your lessons and practice what you learned over the week.

Ask the Chat

We are here to answer all your questions when you are struggling with a topic in class. While you're reviewing and you need clarification on something, come to the group chat and ask away. This will not only help you, but it will also help your classmates who may be struggling with the same problem.

Practice Public Speaking

Do you have trouble with public speaking? You will do a lot of public speaking in this program. You can practice in front of the mirror or record yourself in zoom to see what you look like when you're speaking in front of an audience. The more you practice, the more you will feel confident.

Index Cards

This will be your lifesaver! Writing your notes on index cards will help you recall important terms you need to remember. This will do you wonders. Do not underestimate the power of index cards!

“We should not judge people by their peak of excellence; but by the distance, they have traveled from the point where they started.”
